Our Story

It all begins with an idea. What started off as weekly Saturday morning meetings to figure out a new challenge to pursue, quickly changed into something much more.

We are no newcomers when it comes to creating things, especially yard games. We have a list of “sports” we made over the years that our group of friends would play religiously. However, those “sports” were specific for us. There was nothing to sell or market, just new ideas that sparked loads of fun.

Fast forward to today, we have seen a tidal wave of new yard games come to fruition with the support of social media. The the gears started turning and we realized if there is anyone who is capable of making a successful yard game, it’s us.

What’s great about SKOREBOARD is we all had a hand in coming up with the gameplay and board design. So, there is a piece of us all in it.

We wasted no time refining, play testing, and working on the game. We all work full time jobs, so, had to operate from the second we were off the clock until about 10:00 every night. This was our new day-to-day as we looked forward to Saturday more so than ever. We’d finally get the full day to work on all things SKOREBOARD.

Our first official outing was at the University of Rhode Island where Mark attended school. His fraternity brothers loved the concept and that’s when things really started rolling. 2 weeks later, we found ourselves in Miami, FL where we took off on social media and showcased SKOREBOARD to total strangers for the first time.

The process has been tough, but nothing good comes out of things that are easy. We’re excited to see what our next stop is on our journey. Join us!

We hope you enjoy with friends, family, and strangers as much as we do!
